As medical and information technology advance, there are points in which substantial interaction occurs and therefore opportunities to investigate and discuss the ethical delivery of care in a rapidly changing environment. The changes in medical and information technology impact all disciplines of medicine: Surgery, Medicine, Palliative care, end of life care, and many others.
Using an interactive case-based format, in collaboration with our surgical, medical, and bioethics colleagues in Hong Kong, the specific topics emphasize different approaches to these issues across Western and Chinese cultures.
